For the Permission for shooting

There are few scenes that we needs ask for the permission.

The ATM scene

Today I firstly went to the Commonwealth bank ion Sussex St. To ask the permission and one of the manager says we cannot do that,because
1. security problem
2. other customer to getting money from ATM

and then I went to the St.George the week before Easter holiday I ask the teller and one of the lady says we can do that for school project.
Today, the enquire counter says no we cannot do that and gave the same reason with the Commonwealth bank. And I was ask to see the manager.
The manager says because last Friday and this Monday was Easter Holiday and the bank will be too busy so that's NO SCHOOL PROJECT.

So I was thinking if we can change it to
1. Interner banking
The character can check the balance of his account online. so we don't need to shoot the ATM machine.

2.only the receipt no ATM machine
we can skip the ATM machine part and just put in a 1st person view which is holding the receipt and colse up shot of the receipt's closing balance to show the money he got in his account.

The Central Station Scene

I also went to the Central station, station manager office today.
One of the manager says yes, we can do that,to filming on the Internation airport platform, but he suggest us NOT doing in peak hour.
So after 10:30~11:00am will be fine.
He ask us to come to his office again on the shooting day and just says "we did come and ask the permission on Tuesday and one of the manager says yes, we can do, and now we are doing the film."

The City Council's permission
There are few scenes we are doing on the street, and today the City council did reply the letters:

Minor Filming and Photography Application - Pitt Street, George Street and Sussex Street, Sydney

FW: Minor Filming and Photography Application - Pitt Street, George Street and Sussex Street, Sydney

Dear XXXX (<- here's my name)
Please accept this response as the City's concurrence for representatives UTS Insearch to undertake the filming as detailed below on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 April 2009 in Pitt Street (excluding Pitt Street Mall), George Street and Sussex Street, Sydney.

Approval for the conduct of the activities is granted on the following basis:

    • That no disruption or offence is caused to the City's stakeholders, retailers, or motorists in the vicinity of the activities;
    • That the conduct of the activities shall cause no disruption to any other City of Sydney approved event or activity at the locations;
    • That all activities are contained to footways or public open space areas only;
    • That public safety is maintained at the locations at all times during the conduct of the activities;
    • That any vehicles associated with the conduct of the activities shall be legally parked at all times, and shall not be driven onto City footways, parks or plaza areas;
    • That the submitted public liability insurance documentation will fully indemnify the City against any and all claims for damage or injury that may result from the conduct of the activities. The liability of the Production Company to indemnify the City will be reduced proportionally to the extent that a negligent act or omission of the City (as the statutory authority in respect of the relevant road) has contributed to the damage or injury.

Due to the relatively minor impact of the activities, in this instance the City has waived its usual filming fees. However, this should not be considered as establishing a precedent for any future request.

A hard copy of this response should accompany the crew when they are on site, as a means of Council authorisation.
Thank you
