So, we decided to make a short film about the international students' depression. Our basic idea is about an Asian looking student (boy/girl). He/She has lots of external stress which is combined by financial problems, family, homesick, loneliness, school, work, languages difficulty and relationship with friends/ partners.
Finally, he/ she can not stand the pressure, and go to suicide.
Then the scene stops, and backwards to the time before he/ she suicide. The character sees the poster which we made. He/she changes the mind to go to see the psychologist to solve the depression struggles. Live goes dark to colourful. That is the brief summary of our short film.
The purpose of this short film is to persuade the target market which is the international student who is suffering in the depression problems. Our campaign is trying to help these people to walk out of the darkness.
